Beginning May 6, it's the time to celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week. These professions, frankly, are the much-needed glue to society. After all, nurses and teachers keep us safe and healthy, as well as curious and creative. I don't know what I would do without my favorite professors and high school English teachers. (I certainly wouldn't have the confidence and knowledge to pursue journalism!) So, even though I wish I could give all educators and healthcare workers a hug and a raise, the best I can do is round up these Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week food deals. Chipotle is giving away free burritos to 100,00 healthcare workers. All you have to do is enter your information into the Healthcare Heroes Chipotle site, and at the end of the week, you might receive an e-mail that you were one of the lucky 100,000 to get a free burrito certificate. Non-healthcare workers can also round up their Chipotle orders through May 12 to benefit the American Nurses Foundation.
